Whitefish Valley School is in the Hymers Village of Gillies Township. The school is home to 160 students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade eight. Whitefish Valley Public School is one of twenty-two elementary schools of the Lakehead District School Board.
Council for the Township of Gillies has worked with the School Board to lease office space in a newly renovated AODA compliant space.
