    As we enter into the New Year there are some important updates for you to know.

  • Canada's New Colour Coded Alerts

    Environment and Climate Change Canada has launched colour-coded weather alerts to help Canadians quickly understand their level of risk during severe weather.

    But, what do the colours mean? 

    Yellow: Hazardous Impacts moderate, localized, and/or short-term

    Orange (most common): Severe, Impacts major and/or widespread

    Red (uncommon): Very dangerous, Impacts extreme, extensive, and prolonged, or rare

    Remember: know the colour, know the risk.

  • Oil to Heat Pump Affordability Program

    What is available through the program

    Up to $10,000

    For the purchase and installation of eligible cold climate air source heat pump systems, and any of the following associated eligible measures related to its installation:

    • Necessary electrical and mechanical upgrades to your home for the new cold climate air source heat pump
    • The safe removal of your oil tank.
    • Installation of a back-up electric heating system (as required).
  • Ontario Senior Homeowners' Property Tax Grant

    If you're a low-to-moderate income senior, you may be eligible for up to $500 back on your property taxes.
